Click an apparatus to move closer. Grab a body and pull it around; it follows a damped force while the simulation runs. Scroll to zoom. Right-drag to pan. On touch, use two fingers to orbit or pinch to zoom.

What you measure

Metres, kilograms, seconds and joules. Height is the centre of mass above the workbench. Kinetic energy includes rotation; potential includes gravity and the selected body's spring. CSV samples use simulation time.

A model of the real world

Havok solves rigid bodies and constraints numerically. Springs use Hooke's law plus viscous damping. The pendulum's arm is massless. Hinges introduce numerical damping, especially at small amplitudes; collisions, dragging and parameter changes also exchange energy. This is a hands-on numerical lab, not a calibrated engineering instrument.
